About Our Catalog of Titles
Levellers Press launched as an independent imprint with three outstanding
pieces of non-fiction: Caring for Dying Loved Ones by Joanna Lillian Brown
and Slavery in the Connecticut Valley of Massachusetts by Robert H. Romer
and Vital Aging by Sara S. Wolff. We have now brought out yet another
seminal volume: Called to Serve: Stories of Men and Women Confronted by the
Vietnam War Draft by Tom Weiner.
We have released four books of poetry, Enough of a Little to Know the All by
Richard Ballon, Bird of a Thousand Eyes by Janet Aalfs, and, under our new
imprint Hedgerow Books, High Lonesome by Patricia Lee Lewis and Nightly
at the Institute of the Possible by Diana Gordon. We have just published a book
of short stories by Linda McCullough Moore entitled This Road Will Take Us
Closer to the Moon and Carl Vigeland’s The Breathless Present: A Memoir in
Four Movements. The monumental full-color Girls Got Kicks by Lori
Lobenstine rounded out our fall 2011 publishing season.
