About the Author

Ruth Rootberg is a certified Alexander Technique teacher, Designated Linklater Voice Teacher, and Certified Laban Movement Analyst. Her first volumes of interviews with senior Alexander Technique teachers were published in 2015 and 2018. She is the author of many articles on the Alexander Technique and the first to win the Mouritz Award’s first place for writing on the Alexander Technique (2024). Ruth has recently been named Co-Head of Training at Alexander Technique Training South West (ATTSW) in Totnes, Devon, England. She continues to teach privately when in Amherst, Massachusetts.
